John Emens ’83 is in Need of a Kidney

Dear Chi brothers,

As many of you know, for twenty-five years I was a college professor. In October of 2015, I fell shattering my ankle. It became infected. Over half a dozen major surgeries tried to save my leg. We were unsuccessful. In addition, the antibiotics used to try and save the leg knocked out my kidneys. I am now in complete kidney failure and am taking dialysis. I am at this time seeking a living kidney donor. I am compatible with blood types A & O. Anyone interested in helping me by being a living kidney donor please contact Ohio State Transplant at: 800-293-8965. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to me directly at [email protected]. Thanks so much! Hope you are all doing well!
