Event Recap

The Brothers of Chi Chapter held their semester retreat on September 15. Chapter retreats are typically times for actives to reflect on the fraternity, from our performance in official duties such as ritual to our activities on campus. All 26 active members were able to attend the event. In addition to discussing last year’s events, actives talked about what aspects of the fraternity they would like to improve upon in 2019-2020, from our commitment to JDRF on campus to our dedication to the values of the fraternity.

As usual, the retreat took place at Chapter Adviser J. Drew McFarland’s farm in Granville, OH, where Brothers also enjoyed a cookout of hot dogs and classic chips. The retreat was the first of two held each year, and actives are looking forward to implementing some of the new and exciting plans they designed.
