Chi Chapter celebrates a big fall semester

“The fall of 2016 was certainly an exciting time at Chi Chapter. Within the first week of being back on campus, Brotherhood Chair Thomas Reardon ’17 and Alex O’Connor ’17 organized an afternoon of tubing on the Kokosing River. Equipped with a cooler full of beverages, people enjoyed the opportunity to bask in the sun. Once the sun started to set, the group started to head back to campus, but not before saying a few words in memory of the shoe and pair of glasses that were sacrificed to the Kokosing.

In the following weeks, we had a Fall Retreat that was held at J. Drew McFarland’s farm. With a lot of goals set by the chapter and each of the chairs, it was a very productive day. A lot of obtainable goals were set and most, if not all, were obtained last semester.

On December 2, we had our annual Winter Formal. Arguably one of the best events of the entire year, all of the brothers helped to decorate and rearrange the lodge. The end result was truly amazing. It’s safe to say that a good time was had by all.

Other events that took place last semester include a Blood Drive run by the chapter and The American Red Cross, as well as a bonfire that was run by the Delts and the sisters of Epsilon Delta Mu.”
