Alumni Association President Jeff Moritz ’86 Gives a Shout-out to DTD’s Amazing Alumni!

Greetings from your Alumni Association. As we look back over the past few years, it is truly amazing to observe all of the great programs we have developed and the progress we have accomplished:

Lodge Improvements: We have invested over $185,000 in capital improvements in our Lodge over the past seven years. The place is absolutely in great shape. We encourage all of you to come back and take a look at the building. It is now a place we can be proud of and best reflects the values of the fraternity. We have a few more capital projects remaining, including renovating the lower bathroom, replacing the wood floor upstairs and installing lighting around the new back patio.

Horn Mentorship and Leadership Program: Chi Chapter now has one of the premier mentorship programs of any fraternity chapter not only at Kenyon but nationally. Alumni are sharing their career advice and leadership attributes with the chapter in a direct and personal way that will have a profound effect on the young men. Last fall, we held the 3rd Annual Distinguished Alumni Panel, and we are actively planning for our homecoming event this fall. Our hope is to get more alumni back to share their life experiences with Chi Chapter.

The Alumni Association cannot survive without your help. We are grateful to everyone who has contributed financially, served as a mentor, donated their time and efforts, and has come back to campus to speak to the chapter. With your help and support we will continue to have Chi Chapter be an integral part of the Kenyon experience!
